A MONTHLY TOUCH

ALOCOHOL AND SMOKING – SAY NO TO THESE
Studies have found that alcohol is one of the major reasons of breast cancer. Alcohol increases the risk of developing breast cancer badly. Even in a little amount, it has little effects but it has. Now it’s all up to you. The other thing that you can do is stop smoking to keep yourself away from the risks. Again it has been proved that women, who smoke, are more prone to breast cancer.
MAINTAIN BODY WEIGHT
Try to maintain a standard body weight, because obesity increases the risk, not only the risk of breast cancer but also the cancers. Specially, in the post-menopausal period, over weight could be a reason.
AVOID HORMONE REPLACEMENT THERAPY
Having hormone replacement therapy in the post-menopausal period would make you at risk of breast cancer. It’s better to go with the non-hormonal therapy to treat your post menopausal problems.
DAILY PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
Try to be physically active. Whatever your age is, if you are physically active then you are more able to fight against cancer along with many other health problems. Morning walk, aerobics, cardio or yoga do whatever you prefer to be keep yourself fit.
AVOID CONTRACEPTIVE PILLS
It is still under research that how much contraceptive pills may cause breast cancer. There is a link that taking contraceptive pills increase the chance of breast cancer. While there are facts that use of contraceptive pills may lower the risk of ovarian and colon cancer. But to be aware of breast cancer, contraceptive pills should not be taken.
A HEALTHY DIET
A healthy diet is always a good treat to your health. And to prevent the risk of cancer it is always good to eat healthy. Add more fruits and veggies to your diet along with healthy source of protein and fat. Avoid the junk foods.
Sleepless nights or bad sleep in the night; these all can make you prone to breast cancer. Make sure that you are having good sleep and have a fresh start to your morning.
