Body pain, headache, heart burn or cough and cold, these are some common problems and sudden as well. These sudden physical hazards are described as Ailments. Ailment is actually an illness, typically a minor one. Which means the illness can be controlled without visiting the physician. If the situation seems out of control then don’t take any risk. But if not then there are some home remedies. Yes, as there are some common ailments, there are some natural cures too. And these cures are unexpectedly effective. Well, if you feel like the problem is minor then you can go for these minor solutions. Have a look –
COUGH AND COLD
Daily a glass of orange juice can lower the chances of cough and cold. A cup of warm soup can give you relief during cough and cold. Also you can make syrup. For that you have to simmer 2 cups of lemon juice and 5 tsp. honey. Let it cool and take 1 tbsp. daily to cure cough and cold.
There are some particular points in our body. And each body part is connected to specific points. These points are called acupressure point. You can massage these points to get relief from body pain. But you have to get knowledge about acupressure point first.
BYE BYE HEADACHE
Mix garlic juice with honey and make a pack. Now apply this pack on your head. Or you can just left two potato slices on the temples for 30 min. These can get you relief. And at last you have the option of massage. Massaging your head is the most popular way to get relief from headache.
RELIEF FROM MIGRAINE
Migraine is one of the most common problems. There are some natural remedies for migraine also. First of all eat almonds on a daily basis. A cup of black coffee can also be a relief. And you can try hot and cold therapies also.
INHALING THE STEAM
Place boiled water in a bowl. Now cover your head with a towel and hold the head over the bowl. Inhale the steam and this can get you relief from nasal congestion. You can add bay leaf, sage and cinnamon while boiling the water. This will help to open the closed nose.
SAY NO TO CONSTIPATION
Drink a glass of orange juice or kiwi on an empty stomach in every morning. Constipation can also be reduced, if you can massage your belly with olive oil.
HEAT AND COLD THERAPIES
This is the easiest way to get relief from any kind of pain. Use heat and cold therapy along with a gap of 15 min. Use ice pack for cold therapy. And for heat therapy you can use hot water. But to make the therapy more effective add vinegar and rosemary to the boil water. Now apply the water with wet towel.
Boil thyme in water. Let it cool. Now apply this to affected areas. This can bring relief from skin irritations. You can also apply tea tree oil to the affected areas with a sponge.
SANDALWOOD OIL OR ALCOHOL
Massaging with sandalwood oil can be beneficial for pain in any body part. But before starting the massage you can clean that particular area with alcohol. No, it’s not weird. It’s effective.
PUT A PILLOW
If you sleep in fatal position, then put a pillow between your knees. And if you sleep on your back then put the pillow under your knees. This will lower the risk of back pain.
