India’s First 24×7 LPG ATM Opens in Gurgaon: Refill Your Cylinder in 3 Minutes
Good news for Gurgaon residents! A new 24×7 LPG ATM has opened in the city, making it easier than ever to get a gas refill. Instead of waiting days for a delivery truck, you can now simply bring your empty cylinder to the machine and swap it for a full one in just a few minutes.
Launched by Bharat Petroleum (BPCL), this “LPG ATM” is a smart vending machine designed to make life easier for busy households.

How to Use the LPG ATM
The process is quick, digital, and very simple:
Step 1: Enter your phone number on the screen and type in the OTP sent to your mobile.
Step 2: Place your empty cylinder in the machine’s scanning area.
Step 3: Pay for the refill using UPI (like Google Pay or PhonePe) or your bank card.
Step 4: The machine will take your empty bottle and release a sealed, full cylinder for you to take home.
Where is it?
The first machine is located at Central Park Flower Valley in Sector 33, Sohna. It is open all day and all night, so you can get gas even late at night or early in the morning.
Why is this better?
The machine uses new Composite Cylinders instead of the old, heavy iron ones. These new bottles are much lighter (about half the weight), making them easier to carry. They are also translucent, which means you can actually see the gas level inside so you know exactly when you’re running low. Most importantly, these fiber-glass bottles are rust-free and safer because they are designed not to explode even in a fire.
Quick Highlights
- No waiting: The whole exchange takes less than 3 minutes.
- Smart technology: The machine automatically alerts the company when it’s running low on stock so it can be refilled.
- Easy for everyone: Because the cylinders are lightweight, they are much easier for elderly residents or individuals living alone to handle.
Note: This is currently a pilot project. If it’s successful, we can expect to see these “Gas ATMs” popping up in residential areas all across Gurgaon soon!
