Ingredients:
4 eggs
1 tbsp water
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 carrot (cut into thin strips)
1/2 onion (thinly sliced)
1/2 red bell pepper (thinly sliced)
1 green onion (chopped)
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)


Instructions:

Prepare Vegetables: Cut carrot into thin strips, slice onion and bell pepper thinly, and chop green onion.

  • Beat Eggs: In a bowl, whisk eggs with water, salt, and sugar.
  • Cook Vegetables: Heat oil in a pan, sauté carrot, onion, and bell pepper until slightly soft (2-3 minutes), season with salt and pepper.
  • Add Eggs: Pour beaten eggs into the pan, swirl to cover evenly. Cook for 2 minutes, lifting edges to let uncooked eggs flow underneath.
  • Roll Omelette: Once mostly set but still slightly runny, roll omelette tightly from one side of the pan.
  • Finish Cooking: Cook rolled omelette for another minute until fully set. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  • Slice and Serve: Transfer omelette to a cutting board, slice into 1-inch pieces. Serve warm, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
